At TruNet we always aim for the highest standards.

So, we’re delighted to announce that BRC Global Standards have awarded us the “AA” rating. BRC Global Standards is a leading Global Brand and Consumer protection organisation and undoubtedly the most recognised, independently audited standard for food packaging manufacturing.

This top “AA” rating within our audit program demonstrates the high standards TruNet adopts in all areas of safety, quality and hygiene which confirms that we have the materials, premises and processes in place to ongoingly maintain these standards.

We are proud to have held the “A” BRC status for over a decade, offering our customers assurance that our products are safe and suitable for use. However, with our commitment to continual improvement and maintaining high standards of product safety and hygiene we made some changes to enable us to achieve the “AA” status;

• Centralised records of material, product safety and test data, ensuring that all products meet the latest requirements and guidelines
• Adapted our procedures and practices across all departments to ensure that everyone understands customer expectations
• Carried out training for the whole team on expected hygiene standards
• Implemented new procedures at our storage and warehousing departments to ensure incoming and outgoing products are protected to minimise chances of contamination
• Ensured that we only buy raw materials from accredited suppliers
• We have made sure that the daily audits by the quality department are carried out for all documented procedures and manufacturing departments
• Upgraded our premises and facilities

For us to maintain our "AA" status, we will need to continue to demonstrate our compliance with each section of the standard. That’s why we carry out regular internal audits of each department and the factory infrastructure. As a result, we’re continually monitoring and improving our processes and procedures.

In working towards “the AA” status, we’ve achieved:

• Improved product safety
• Reduced production waste
• The lowest ever number of complaints and returns
